Why is it important to take care of ourselves?

It goes without saying that self-care should not be a one-time event, nor a short-term one. It is a process that requires time and must be adapted to your habits in order to see progress in your relationship with yourself.

6 steps to self-care

1. Reading a book

Reading has been shown to help slow the release of endorphins. This can be your offline time. Don’t feel obligated to answer every single message and rush to see the phone every time it vibrates. Bring peace to your mind and soul with a few pages a day in time just for you. Yes, you read that right, several pages. It is not necessary to rush things, start gradually, it is far from necessary to read half a book a day if you do not have time for it.

2. Dance

Easy and nice! It’s that simple, play your favorite playlist and get moving at home. No one will watch or judge you, only you matter. Feel the rhythm and shake off all thoughts, problems, obligations. Everything can wait. Make your reboot in a fun and entertaining way.

3. Practice yoga or meditation

Incorporating yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercises into your daily routine can gradually increase the level of endorphins in the body. And guess what? Again, you don’t need to spend too much time or wonder where to exercise. You can do breathing exercises or meditation on your bed or sofa, and your living room is enough for a short yoga session to get your blood moving and your thoughts clear. 4. Take a walk in the park

5. Train

We come to the most important part – healthy physical training. They are one of the most effective ways to release tension and shake off everyday problems. Exercising raises endorphin levels, increases self-esteem, reduces stress, improves posture and much more.
